Setting the atmosphere in a fashion show or in a presentation is as important as who is sitting in the front row.
While celebrities like Andy Cohen, Alex Pettyfer, Bryan Greenberg, Chloe Nargaard, Henrik Lundqvist, Jamie Chung, Jaime King, Karolina Kurkova, Kate Bosworth, Louise Roe, Michael Polish, Olivier Martinez, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman get mentioned in social media, the space that they are being photographed in also catches the readers’ attention.
For the House of GANT whose Spring 2016 collection consisted of three sub brands; GANT Originals, GANT Diamond G, and GANT Rugger, it meant building three sets instead of just one when they unveiled their latest collection on 10 September 2015 during New York Fashion Week.
GANT Originals which took inspiration from the Yacht Club, Golf Club, and Beach Club was given an all white set with a life size close up photo of a dock.
GANT Diamond G which is shirt-centric, focusing on versatile tailoring, travel and a sophisticated off-duty look was given an airport lounge as a set.
GANT Rugger, paying homage to the GANT icon had a very urban look with its white brick walls.
“We found our inspiration in the clean lines of the Beinecke Library, as well as the intellectual energy on campuses all over the US and the great things that come from it,” said GANT Creative Director Christopher Bastin about the Gant Spring 2016 collection.
That inspiration extended to the sets which were specifically built for this collection.
